Balboa Island

Spent a couple of days in Newport Beach staying with the parents of a good friend from high school. Not nearly as awkward as it sounds, and the location was fantastic. Many undocumented good times, but I did take several pictures from my day trip to Balboa Island, where candy shops, good mexican food, island abodes, and seals reign supreme.

In California

I've made it to California! And it is sunny and warm and smells like the ocean. I took quite a few pictures during the trip out here and I'm sure I'll be taking many, many more in the days to come. But it's sunny and warm and I'm in California - no time to blog!

In and around the Front Range

Days on the Front Range mostly just included drinking free beer at various breweries and checking out Red Rocks. Time well spent.

RMNP in Winter

How lovely it was to be back at Rocky Mountain National Park, even if it was quite cold and blustery.  As there was a decent amount of snow, I didn't have an opportunity to hike in really. Next time: remember snow shoes!
